Give us a little more detailed explanation of "doing everything right". Losing that last little bit is always the hardest. It all still comes down to a calorie deficit. If your at a point where you can't afford to cut out anymore food calories from your diet, then try introducing some cardio maybe. Really need to know more about your situation. Like current diet, total calories, excercise, etc.

I keep my calories really low probably about 1000 - 1500 per day. I work out 3 times a week I always do about a half hour of cardio (not high impact though) and I run through a series of weights. At my gym its called the express line. It has one machine for each body part.

At 140, your calories should at their lowest be in the 1500 range, 1000is way to low. That will bring your metabolism to a crawl. Try keeping your calories around 1500-1600 and eating 5-6 smaller meals a day like breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. That and bumping our calories up to where they should be will speed your metabolism up and should start weight loss again. You really can't have that much variance in your daily calories.

After reconsidering your daily caloric intake it should probably be closer to 1600-1800. That's just ballpark for an active women at your weight.

You can get yourself fairly close using the one on the site here under fitness resouces-fitness calculators. I know there are other sites that have them as well, if I remember correctly one is www.bodycomp.com.
