I am 17 years old and have been lifting for about 2 1/2 years. When I started out I weighed 103 and am up to 155. I have increced my chest size but am wondering how to widen the chest as well as the back. I have heard that back work cna lead to a bigger chest but am not totally sure if this is true...
I would really like answers or opinions. Thanks

Flat and incline flyes will help your chest, while wide-grip pull-ups will widen your back. Try doing some pullovers as well; they have been known to expand the ribcage some.

Bent over rows, pulldowns, wide and close grip chins will help widen your back. Flat, incline, decline bench, dips will help your chest.

All of the above are great tips... I would possibly add that you could use a wider grip on bench press. That way your tri's will do less of the work. Also I like doing HEAVY dip's and lean forward slightly to hit the chest more. Regular body weight dips will be fine for you to start out with.

You cannot expand the ribcage... that's an ever ongoing myth....once you're a fully developed adult you're stuck the way you are...
variations of:
Deadlifts
Squats
Goodmornings
Brch Press
Chin Ups/Pull Ups
Dips
Military Presses
