When to take protein?

the whey protein i just bought, says to take 1 - 4 times daily...depending on how much you want. should i take it more then once....and what time woudl you reccomend. i was planning on when i wake up, adn after my workout

IMO, I would only take it once a day, maybe twice at the most. You should really be trying to get the bulk of your protein intake from whole foods. Take the whey as a PWO shake with some simple sugars. Drink 1/2, then sip the other 1/2 over about 30 minutes. Other than that, maybe have it as part of meal, something like the whey mixed with some oats and a little tap water. The oats will help slow its digestion. It's most usefull PWO, when you need protein immediately.

thanx...so if im taking it once a day...you think i shoudl continue to take it in the morning....or after the workout.

If just once, take it PWO as noted above.
