Well, I have been away from this board for a while...we found out (6 weeks ago) that I am pregnant (11 wks now) So now my fitness goals have been changed and my big body changes will have to wait until the new year of 2007. I am truly happy at our surprise news....now I will seeking out healthy nutrition and exercise advise for a new reason, with different goals in mind. :big_smile:

Congratulations lonegirl! Boy or girl, or do you know yet?

Keep a healthy diet and exercise when you can, and you will have a relatively easier pregnancy. Not to menion you and baby being all the better for it.

11 wks is to early to tell yet. But Congrats nonetheless! Talk with you Doctor they acutally may have a pregnancy fitness specialist to refer you to, ass BB said the beeter cardiovascualr as well as muscle wise you are the easier labor is and recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes and advice! Eating a well balanced diet (with some extra ice cream....good excuse for calcium) and trying to get to the gym regularily. Now doing lower weight higher rep routine with some lunchtime walks now that the weather is nice...I was dead tired all the time at first but now the energy is coming back!
