Hi everyone, I am new here. I am 1 year post pregnancy, gained 50 lbs with my twins and have lost the pounds off of the scale however, my mid section front and back from below the breasts to inner thighs is where I have retained fat deposists. I have 2.5 months to lose the fat and tone up (my body responds quickly) for summer holidays and was wondering what the experts think about rest days in a 5 day workout plan (I am working out at home). I just changed up my routine to add strength training with free weights/exercise ball incorporated with cardio on my stationary bike/running outside 20-30 minutes. I have planned to do one day cardio, next day weights on and off for five days straight with a two day rest in between. What are your thoughts on that? Is it better to rest only one day and not two consecutive days?
Thanks your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Perfect! So you'd be doing weights Mon., Wed & Fri., and cardion Tue. & Thu. That's a great way to get started, you're right on track. I'm on the same schedule and it has been working well for me.

Hey there! Another twin mother. Congratulations. Mine are 14 now. It's been quite a trip.
You share my Weight routine. It seems to work well. I would keep it up if I was you! Good luck.
