Has anyone tried this technique? I burn many calories in my sleep and I thought this may be a way to gain more mass. Maybe a low carb whey shake?

Yes.. this can be very effective. Some people set their alarms for say 2, 3am and mix up a low carb protein shake.
Only way to find out is to give it a shot for a few weeks and see how your body responds.

Thanks again, I will try it next week. Go to bed about 12, wake up at 4, drink 21g of protien in milk, back to bed at 4:20, get up in the morning about 10 and eat again! I hope it helps. I'll give ya updates.

I would say everyday. One workout days, just be sure to consume a protein shake with some complex carbohydrates within a 45 minutes of finishing your workout.
