Hi, today's my first day and I just don't know where to start. All I know is that I have to lose 30 lbs. the sooner the better. I don't know what to eat or how to exercise without getting all bulky. I just want to lose fat and gain no muscle. I eat anything and don't know where to make limitations. Help!:(
Best bet would be just do what everyone alse does that succeeds in losing and keeping the weight off, eat just below your maintenance calories. Losing 1-2 pounds a week is the way to go. I would hold off on cardio for the time being and focus on lifting weights 2-3 times a week. Women have a very difficult time, next to impossible, trying to gain muscle, so don't worry about that. All you'll do is firm everything up and burn some calories in the process. Read the "grocery list for healthy eating" and "max dietary deficit for fat loss" in this forum. Also learning how to establish your maintenance calories would help you quite a bit. If you like I will send you something...let me know.
