So how many of you can tell the difference between a GM and a SQ? I had a guy come up to me last night and comment that I was doing the squats wrong. I said That is good as I was not doing squats!

How can someone get a good morning mixed up with a squat? If you see that guy benching go up to him and tell him he is doing deadlifts incorrect

I've seen guys squatting poorly enough that it could be considered a good morning. A poor good morning, but still.

I thought I may have confused him on that count. Or maybe it was the 295 lbs I had on the bar?

There is nothing good about a properly done set of good mornings, or the morning after.

I think the bigger problem is most people have no idea what a good morning is, I didn't until I came to this site. That is one lift I had never seen done nor heard of, and with bent knees would look like a very poorly done squat. Or maybe I did see somebody and just never said anything, as I thought it was just someone doing a bad squat.. lol.
