The rugby season is just starting for me, and I'm already having some shoulder problems. I have a tendancy to drive and tackle with my right shoulder. I have been noticing that my shoulder has been really sore throughout the last few practices, and my mobility has been really limited with my right shoulder as well. When I stretch my shoulder it seems looser than it should, and it almost feels like it is going to pop out, but it doesn't. After practice, it is even hard for me to shift my car. Am I just driving and tackling wrong? Or should I go get this looked at?

I think you started at the wrong time. wait until the ground is softer! My rugby career has ended after 40 years of playing the game and I now suffer from bad knees and shoulders from playing prop. When my knees were hurting I went to see a chiropractor who worked wonders. Also you could avoid tackling by constantly shouting, " He's yours. "
" Crouch,hold and engage."
