You are on the road to no where. You need to listen to people and eat more. 600 calories a day is WAY to low for any adult. At 6'1", 140 pounds is even too low IMO. You need to slowly increase your calories about 10% every 2-3 days until you reach your maintenance amount. From there, IMO, I would try to gain. You should be around 175-180 at least. Your body is craving nourishment right now and it's not getting it. I am assuming your male from your height. Browse the specific diet and nutrition forum and read thru some of the threads there. Lots of beneficial informaition. Good luck and welcome to FT!-------------- Days go by and life drags on..... |

anorexia isn't something to play around with. You really need to see a doctor for assistance if you cannot handle it on your own and you both seem to be comfortable with the fact that you are.
Go to the doctor, get some consultation and instruction and good luck. -------------- Bettia.... You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus. -Mark Twain ravenbeauty@freetrainers.com |

Personally, I don't know HOW you run and bike a lot with such a low daily energy consumption, I imagine your muscles are taking quite the hit. It is very important to talk to someone about this, please, only a professional can tell you if you are healthy and can help you, your subject line said, "I HAVE ANOREXIA" so you obviously are aware you have a problem, let someone help you....
Here are approximate stats on height vs. weight for men and women (you don't state), now of course, this is just a guideline, everyone is different, so that is why speaking with a doctor will help you determine if you are healthy at your current weight, but I can tell you that 600 cal a day is extremely unhealthy....
