just a quick question to anyone out there who can answer.... is it possible to do a training program to build muslce mass, take the required supplements, and not gain any muscle? what would cause this?

Not eating right and training right. ALso there are no required supplements.

Yep, you gotta take in the necessary amount of protein/carbs/fats, along with calories to put on mass. And train appropriately as well...just like mutt stated. Supplements, IMO should be limited to as little as possible.
