Ok, this is going to sound unhealthy, and I know how healthy this site is, but here it goes- How can I shed 12 pounds in 10 days? I am running every morning, 6 times a week. I cut the calories as much as I think necessary. I am going to start tomorrow night doing 20 minutes cardio and 10 minutes sauna for the rest of the 10 days on top of the running. I am in the military and have a weigh in coming up and I messed up and got over weight. Once I make weight I will resume a more healthy lifestyle. I have tried taking exlax, but that didn't seem to help. I hate puking, so that won't work either. I started taking Hydroxycut today, we will see how that works. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Try hitting up wrestler125 in the poewrlifting forum for some tips on shedding some weight quick. He may be able to throw you a couple of tricks of the trade so to speak. Granted it may be mostly water weight, and may weaken you a little, but it should get you close to where you need to be for weigh in. Good luck!

Go with supplements and lots of water for 2 days... then for the next 5 days take those same supplements (i'm talking vitamins, minerals, amino acids, whatever your body needs that you aren't getting from the foods you aren't eating)and a 500-600 calorie meal (usually at lunchtime), and two protein shakes (brkfst, and dnr), then supplements and water for the last 2! I've done this a few times, and I have lost 10-12 pounds each time. It sounds weird, but it is attainable. You will obviously get really hungry for the first and last two days! Split up a protein bar in fourths and eat that! Also, grapes and celery are ok to snack on too! It takes commitment and determination, but you should be fine! Regardless, don't go overboard on your exercise... keep doing it, but stop if you get dizzy or lightheaded... Also, exercise on an empty stomach, IMO, makes your body go after fat stores for energy! Good luck! You will make it!
