That's too broad a question. Try and be more specific. Most are safe to the degree they aren't abused. But unless you have a specific one in question, we cannot give advice comfortably.

sry nvrmind that i dont wanna take anything but protein cause i think its best for my health because of my age. but would it be ok to take 2 diff proteins like whey after workout and casein before bed would that be healthy and help? and how much protein do i need a day im 5'4 135

What is preached here is to maintain muscle, look to get around 1 gram per pound of body weight per day. To bulk, increase it to 1.5 grams. Also a good idea to have a protein shake PWO. I have adopted the new version containing 24 oz milk mixed with whey so the protein amount comes to 1/4 my total body weight. Milk is fine before bed, but I would opt for 1/2 cup cottage cheese.
