I recently got carpal tunnel but has calmed down due to my doctor's treatment. Since I've started up my weight lifting again my wrist has been hurting again. Has anyone had this problem? If so what did you do so your wrist wouldn't hurt but you still got a good workout. When I do bicep curls it really irritates my wrist. :dumbbell:
What can I do? I really don't want to stop my upper body weight training?

The easiest way to deal with CTS is that if it hurts don't do it. Mine bothers me occasionally on isolation moves but almost never on the compound moves so...... :) Your biceps get plenty of work if you have a good workout program. I like to work arms occasionally but it's not worth sacrificing everything else. You might try a wrist wrap and see if that helps.

You could also use wrist braces when doing your curls,it will stabalize the wrist so that it doesnt bend with the movement...
