I am 24 and 9 months pregnant. I should be having my daughter anytime and right after that i want to start immediatley on the right track. I am not sure how to use the caloric intake formula and need help. I am 5'6" and 3 quarters. Someone please help. :)
Welcome to FT and congratulations on the baby! I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you should be dieting while nursing. But if you're not going to be nursing, I think the best way to figure out your calorie intake is by keeping a food log. Weigh yourself, then start writing down everything you eat for a week. At the end of the week weigh yourself again (same time of day as the first weigh in). If you've gained weight start reducing your calories by about 100-200 cal a day for the next week. Do this week by week until you have a week where you've lost weight. It will take some time to tweak it. Don't forget that exercise is also a very important part. Hope this helps, good luck:big_smile:
