I take flaxseed oil regularly, but i hear alot of rave about fish oils. Is it worth investing in fish oils if i already take flaxseed?
Also, i'm looking for a caffine+aspirin supplement; i assume you make it urself but to what ratio's?
Generic aspirin? And where can u get the caffine?
And are there any health implications of taking caffine as a supplement regularly?
Cheers

Marine sources for EFA's is a better way to go than plant sources in my opinion. EPA and DHA is readily available, unlike with plant sources ALA is the parent and must be broken down. Not all are good at this.....

Yea, I had the same question Filthy. I just bought some fish oil capsules, but I eat peanut butter with flax seed mixed in. Is it possible to get too much of the stuff?

Sure it is...no matter how good something is for you, if it takes you over your needed calories then you will gain weight.

And pb will give you nowhere near the EFA's(in fact very little) that fish oil will. Our diets are already high in n6's. In fact you could probably go a year without any n6's and still be ok. It is n3's we are after.

you can start with 100-200mg of caffeine and 81mg of baby aspirin....
caffeine is sold generically in drug stores...the Brand names usually next to it are No-Doz and the like....
start low and see how your body responds to it...make sure if u take it it's in the first half of the day so that your sleeping habits are not disrupted...

^beware that's only a suggestion for people that tolerate caffeine fairly well(that drink tea, coffee, etc)...and that can take aspirin...if u are allergic to aspirin then dont take it....if u are sensitive to caffeine then use even smaller dosages or avoid altogether...
strong cup of coffee is about 200mg of caffeine...
also if u choose to supplement, cut out other caffeine sources(coffee, tea, soda, etc)

The aspirin in the mix really did not do what they thought it would, and if you recall, the latest versions of the ECA stack no longer had aspirin in them. (many used white willow bark as their aspirin source).
