I can currently do Barbell Bent over rows without a belt, 215lbs for 6 reps at a bodyweight of 185lbs. My question is would doing one arm bent rows (with knee and locked out arm on bench) help in increasing my barbell rows? To me it seems that it's more of a bodybuilder exercise.
Any comments with people experienced doing the one arm rows?

It's just another move to add to your arsenal. You're doing 215 with the bar so do a couple of sets with 100 lb dbs and you might change your mind about the bodybuilder exercise. :) It's not a matter of better but rather a variety.

Try it with a heavy DB I use them from time to time to change things up like Mike said, I can do bent over rows with barbell and hit 275x5 but I can just get 120lb DB 6 times. IT works trust me!

I like 3 point (kneeling on a bench) rows, because they allow you to realy use a good amount of weight. Standing and you rely a lot on your obliques and other stabilizer muscles. Which isn't a bad thing, but like you say mutt, rowing 275bb and then only 120db probably means that it isn't lat strength holding you back (considering I can hit 130*8 and I'm much smaller and my bent row is MUCH lower than yours, though I'm not positive what it is)

No it means there are no 130's in the gym LOL
I use on hand on a rack or something and row.

Ah. If your gym has an olympic hammer curl bar you could maybe load that and do rows? A bit more difficult to stabilize, but it'd be something.
As for going higher with reps, I can tell you why. Because your a powerlifter. Anything over 3 reps is cardio.
I've personally been doing higher rep training just since my hand injury. I can't do any heavy pressing or anything, so I've been doing more "isolation" work, and I generally go higher with these.
