I have been told by a friend that I eat too much fruit & veggies for someone trying to loose weight and tone my muscle (do to the sugars) . I eat 4 to 6 fruits plus 2-4 veggies (raw) per day. Is this true I thought if i reduced my carbs & fat and raised my protein a little it would be a good thing. Any comments are welcome

I don't think you eat too many veggies, vegetables are actually low in carbs. Fruits, on the other hand, are rather high in carbs, so maybe if you cut it down to 3 fruits a day and increased your protein that would be good.

Veggies are not a problem, but the fruits can be I'm afraid. Don't ever stop completely with the fruits (too many good vitamines inside) but if you want to loose weight then don't eat more than 2-3 fruits daily.
I love fruits but they give me carb cravings afterwards. What I do is always eat my fruits with some source of proteins or fibres. This slow down the absorbtion of the carbs (in this case fructose) and it works for me.

Veggies are great. We all should be eating a serving of veggies with most of our meals (assuming we're eating at least 5-7 meals a day). Fruits are also great, but limit those to maybe 3 servings, and none in the late afternoon to night, unless you're gonna use the carbs.

The only way to see if you don't have enough vitamines (or have too much!!) is a blood test......
All vitamines can get dangerous if taken in too high quantity but luckily it's very rare (and the body eliminates the extra automatically in the pee and transpiration)
