Hi, I'm on a mass building diet and I'm gaining but I seem to be packing on fat around my waist. Should I cut back on calories, do aerobics, eat extremely low fat? I do expect to put on some fat but I am putting on too much. Thanks for any ideas, Brian

Sounds like it could be your diet. You need to go under your targeted daily fat consumption. You can also try to cut back on your calories by 250 per day. You'll probably have to measure your bodyfat content and make sure you don't gain more than 2-4% during your mass gain program.
However, for now, don't worry too much. When you think you have gained enough mass/weight, you can begin your cutting phase...which will take care of the excess fat you have accumulated.

good advice,
remember that gaining muscle is faster when you pack on some fat as well.. so if you don't mind a little bit of extra fat for awhile to gain that extra few pounds of lean muscle.. don't worry about it! Once you shed the fat.. you'll be happy with the lean gains..
Good Luck
