I am wanting to loose about 35-40lbs. I have been going to the gym since the begining of May and before that I was doing jazz, Tap and Ballet. I have started my program with ft, and I am trying to eat fewer calories and healthier foods. I don't want to gain that much muscle but I want to be toned and loose weight. Is there a trick to this? What can I do or eat less or more of that would help? It would be nice to see the numbers on the scale go down instead of up. Is the scale going up because I am gaining muscle and loosing fat? My pants fit better, so that has to be a good thing, right? I need help.:(
Scales are an evil thing! Yes, if your gaining muscle your weight will go up. You pants fitting better is the best sign of loosing fat! Don't worry about getting bulky from wt lifting, it is very difficult for women to bulk up. Wt training will give you the toned body you're looking for, so eat healthy and lift heavy! good luck!
-------------- Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.
