I heard one of you guys say that forearms are easy to overtrain, and even if im mistaken and they arent, my question is still a valid one. Usualy for forearms the only work people get in is just as a secondary muscle, ie bicep curls kinda thing if that makes any sense, and sometimes some do actual targeted bicep work. My question is, after working at a moving company for 3 years, i noticed that my forearms were absolutely massive. I worked for about 10 hours a day 4 days a week, and let me tell you, moving 10 dressers up the stairs in a day is way more work on the forearms then doing specific forearm work, but i usualy move about a hundred. So wouldnt it stand to reason that if i was doing that much work on my forearms, then it should have provided no muscle gains, as i was grossly over training them, so i assume that my body adapted. If this is true, can the rest of the body do this, if you over trained everything like this then would you eventualy begin to see some great gains?

NO you are totaly missing the point. Real life work is way different than targeting directly a single muscle. If you went into a gym and did forearms each day along with all the other times you work them you would see problems. IN the real world you are using them but not foucsed like in a gym

And who told you forearms are easy to overtrain? Those with the strongest grips in the world swear by high volume high frequency training... I'd say they are quite the opposite.

I have heard that working chest and tricep on the same day leads to size reduction of the arms. Is it true.

You can adapt to that kind of volume, however you will plateau very quickly. In fact, you would experiance much better gains in the long run on a traditional workout.

not liek i was gunna try it or anything, i just thought that it was an interesting subject, lol thanks for the help. but just out of curiousity then, if im on a bulk, and you say that forearms are actualy very hard to overtrain, how much should i do for them, i realize everyones different in how much volume is needed, but what would you say is a good amount before it would be overtraining?

Your forearms are different. Simplest way I can put this, is that the part of your CNS that controls motor tasks for the forearms and hands is larger than any other muscle.

If training for bulk, I would say at least 3 times per week. I train my grip 5x a week with very high intensity. In contrast, I train everything else 3x a week with lower intensity and regulated volume.

Experiment.

I work my biseps once a week , although are biseps are pretty okay( 16 inch) my forarms are less compared to that.

how frequently should i train my forarms, and if more than once then since I work my biseps once I week in which schedule should I combine my forarms execise.
