Welcome to FT alexandria. Do not try to do something stupid for some upcoming "event". You are only 14, just improve your eating habits, cut out the unecessary "comfort foods" and replace them with sound food choices. Learn how to eat! This will yeild results. Add in some energy expenditure, less video game time, and you will see results.

I don't know if you're interested, or already do it, but you should join a sport. Fall sports in high school...volleyball and cross country. Joining one of them, as well as eating healthy foods will help a lot!
