how about this but with 93 percent lean beef instead of those frozen patties you get which have about 40 grams of fat just curious......on wheat bread of course....

Can you get the 97 percent, it will be better. I wouldn't recommend it all the time, but then again I usually only eat chicken and fish anyway. Once in a while I'll eat red meat. I don't see it causing a lot of harm. If you grill it, it will drain a lot of the fat out of the meat as well.

Ground beef will always have a fair amount of saturated fat. Instead, use lean steak and have a steak burger!

but robert is right. while the ground beef may be lean (4%), it is still better on the whole to stick with a steak. ground beef is highly processed and can contain a fair amount of impurities (the reason why you can cook a steak "rare" and not get sick, but you should cook a hamburger "well").
I, on the other hand, have a cast iron stomach and can damn near eat anything.....yummy oysters on the half shell!!!........lol.
