When and what to eat????

I am curious as to how soon before working out should you eat? and what should you eat, mainly carbs, or mainly protien or something else? Should this apply to before weights and before cardio? Also, what is the best thing to eat after a workout. Thanks for any advice :big_smile:

For me I have to have about a half hour to hour after between eating and working out. I try to have a protein and a carb source.

ok, thanks. is it also important to eat after a workout? I have heard there is a one hour glycemic window to replace your glycogen stores and save your lean body mass...
