Does anyone have an exercise that targets the area between the lats & lower back? I thought about changing angles of exercises, but thought that it might introduce stress. Does anyone have a safe way to target the lower lats?

Hyperextenstions are excellent. YOu can use a machine if your gym has one, add weight with the stack, of if not, you can hold a plate and do them. That is not a big muscle area there, so no need to "hit it hard" That will get leaner with good energy expenditure and diet.

Dumbbell Rows? Could you alter the angle of the bench upwards to push the weight towards the lower part of the back. Is that safe I don't know? But would be my guess, someone should probably shoot me down though.
