I AM A 29 YEAR OLD WOMAN THAT WEIGHS 400 POUNDS AND IS DEATHLY AFRAID HER HEART WILL EXPLODE!!!!!!! MAYBE I'VE WATCHED TOO MANY DOCTOR SHOWS OR MAYBE TOO MANY MOVIES BUT I DO REALIZE I NEED HELP..........BEFORE I LOSE MY BATTLE WITH AN ANORMOUS BULGE

You need to start TODAY!!!It's very easy to put off losing weight until "monday" as I'm sure you know,monday sometimes never comes.Start off slow,walk 20 min a day or whatever is comfortable for you.decide on one food that you're going to give up this week,say potatoe chips,and add to this every week.start looking around and get yourself educated with the beginnings of fitness and start asking questions.everyone is here to help...but YOU have to get the ball rolling.Good Luck and welcome to FT!

KC gives you excellent advice. Slow changes work wonders. Too much at once normally leads to a feeling of deprivation, and you end up binging back. The good news is heavier individuals burn more calories than leaner folks. So take heart literally, your good health is actually in your hands. If you need support, keep posting. We will be glad to be your support group and assist you.
