i am 14 year old and was wondering about this diet ive heard its good for children. im not exactaly a child but body builders do it too. its called Ketogenic its where you go a week without carbs and then load up on them for 2 days to a week. doing cardio and weights in between. is it safe? should i give it a try?

I'm not a PRO but I would say ABSOLUTELY not good for you, you are a growing child and should not be deprived of nutrients! You don't need to do this kind of thing your a burning machine your 14 you can burn so much so fast!

I'm 37 and carb intolerant, I would never do this and from what I read from the Pro's here you should never go a week without carbs, Hell I can't even see this as a possibility.

Go to search buddy and typ in Diet made simple and read what Ron (bb1fit) has come up with, it's a low carb 2 or 3 days and then a refeed, this would be way better for you to do!

You are talking about a CKD. Man, don't do that stuff now. 14 yrs. old, what would you want to do that for. Not everyone can handle it anyway.

but do you have any suggestion i think my profile is wrong now im 5'5 143 i dont relly want to lose weight just fat so i will lose the fat and gain it back in muscle. have any suggestions on a diet and exercise or anything cause im totally out? thanks
