I do just like Mutt...except I really spice up the chicken with old bay seasoning, sage, basil, and lots of pepper and let it get real brown in the oil.I also had more veggies, love zuchinni and yellow squash and celery..mix it all together let it cool some then put it on a bed of raw spinach with balslamic vinegar and a little olive oil with a few shaved pecans on top...my favorite.Boneless skinless chicken is the easiest thing in the world to cook.Keep everything in one pan to keep it simple.A can of tuna on a salad is always easy and fast if you don't have time to cook. They have easy cooking cook books...go through them..modify if need be,and have fun.And ANY girl will be mighty impressed that you know how to cook...even if it's just one meal!:)

And YES....boiled chicken is mighty gross!!!

I live pretty much alone and I'm dieing to eat some propre meals on a daily basis. But there this one simple quote that keeps putting me down everytime i try and make up some "good & healthy meal":... "Leave the art to the artists".

I'm no cook of what so ever :(, trust me it's not about being lazy, i just can't deal with cooking, it's too much stress, I end up doing everything wrong. When ever there is more then one thing going on, i go totally nervous and aggressive:surprised: - no one must talk to me, not even be around me.

I tried and taking cooking lessons (bloody expensive by the way) and yes I did learn some things "Orange Chicken" and some others. But those aren't meals that i can do rapidly and efficiantly.

See, I'm just lost, you'll probably ask me what's the point of this topic, i have come to an understanding that cooking is a little harded then i thought it ever would be. I need some feminin advice here. REALLY .... Man:'(.. pfff.

Boilled chicken is discuting sorry and so everything else i manage to do. What now ?.

OK here is the deal KISS it! Keep It Simple Silly! Basic chicken meal:
1-2lbs chiken breast (depends on how many eating)
cut into cubes (dice it up!)
a large onion diced
1-2 bellpeppers chunky cut
1-2 cloves garlic.
Basically get a skillet/frying pan use olive oil to coat the bottom. heat it up and add onion and garlic. then add chicken. 1-3 minutes later add the veggies (now those are my favs, add what you want.)
cook till chiken is done (15 minutes or so)
you can add hot sauce, red pepper flakes or what ever seasoning you like just use a small amount at a time, cook it a bit the taste add more if you like. hope this helps out

Sounds to me like you have cooking issues, r3wt.

Cooking is very simple, if you want it to be. Get a George Forman grill, preheat it, put in four frozen chicken breasts (boneless skinless), cook about 10 minutes, a meat thermometer really helps here to see if they are done.

Take the chicken off the grill, let it sit on a plate 10 minutes while you grill some sliced zuchini, or other veggies.

Rice or pasta is so easy, there is no excuse for screwing them up. follow the directions on the package.

Sounds like you are just resistant to being self-sufficient. Calm down and read recipes through and organize your ingredients before you start cooking. i like little bowls - I premeasure the ingredients into seperate bowls, so all I have to do is add the bowlful when it is time. Making cooking simple and relaxing is really just a matter of giving yourslef over to the process and being organized.

Were you really awesome at riding a bike the first time you ever did it? try again.

If you can get a crockpot, slow cooked meals are great way to have a low hassle meal ready to go when you get home. My favorite is to stick a pack of stew beef,2 chopped carrots,5-6 quartered red potatoes, chopped celery, onion and a can of 99% fat free cream of mushroom soup in the crocker/salt and pepper to taste, and let it go all day. When you get home...yummy. : ) Have some salad on the side(out of the bag salad is your friend) and your good to go!

Take a cooking class. You'll learn that cooking is not that hard and it is a great place to meet single women. :)

he said he did take a cooking class (and it was expensive) sounds like maybe it was a waste of money.

So it really is all about chicken isn't it, uuh ?..:)
Chicken upside down and all around. I just wanted to thank you guys for the bunch of ideas. I spent days and night on google, looking for healthy cooking videos. "JACKASS" Makes some great omlets btw, you should really check it out ().

Now, It's been a week since I'm eating chicken. It's not bad at all - none the less I really would like to punch in some other stuff. I'm a curious man. Thanks to google, I read an article on advocado. It apparently contains a bunch of useful things.

There is just one thing I thought I could probably ask. ME that is trying to dry up, concidering the avocado rather high in lipids (but healthy ones as far as i could read),
Could i eat it on a daily basis ?

Because I found out how to make "guacamol" and excuse my language but it tastes F**KING good!! hehe

Concidering the avocado as "good carbs". Would i need to substitude it ? How do i squeeze this in my diet ?

Avocados are great...but high in fat...good fat,but still fat...think moderation...guacamole is great...wouldn't eat it with every meal though:)...Chicken is great too because it's so easy to cook...but now that your becoming a wizz in the kitchen...try adding some fish...Tilapia is good.
