I'm with Mutt. I'll take my 425 PR and go cry in the corner now. -------------- --JBennett "I've up-ed my intensity.... now up yours!" "Pain is only weakness leaving the body." "Never think of how weak you are; think of how strong you're going to be." |

Haha...had a feeling it was Becca Swanson....she has more test in her than all of us here combined....
The grand was very impressive by Sam Byrd....can I ask what type of equipment he used? and it looked like a monolift? so no walkout? how was the depth? I only ask because I dont know the standards of this federation. Not to hijack the thread but thoughts on Larry Allen the NFL 49ers player that benched 700 raw? does he have a shot at breaking Mendelson's record? seems like with less focus on bench than Mendelson he's 15lb away...if he retired from NFL and refocused his attention on bench seems like he'd destroy it....supposedly also squats 900 raw...one big mofo :) | |

You are mistaken on Larry Allen...he was with the Dallas Cowboys for years, and when he did that bench.-------------- Maximus from Gladiator....Strength and Honor! |

oh really? i think he's on 49ers now...and I run across that tidbit in Maxim.....so just took it and ran with it...so he doesnt bench 700 anymore?

Yeah, Larry Allen was an all pro with Dallas for many years. He is well past his prime. Yes, he now is with the 49'ers.
I just mentioned it due to the fact I am a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan, and bringing up San Francisco...well, not cool. :):) -------------- Maximus from Gladiator....Strength and Honor! |

Powerlifting thread turned NFL thread.-------------- I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious. --Vince Lombardi "Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it.
