i was just wondering, i have recently increased my calorie intake (coming off a 1,000-1,200 cal a day diet) to about 2,500+ in hopes to kick me out of starvation...and the past few days i have since decreased it to try and get back into losing weight and i eat about 1,900 per day now (weigh approx 150)...so, im eating less (than i was for the 2,500 i ate only for 8 days), but, i'm also eating MORE...meaning higher than 1,100 cals a day...now, when i ate only 1,100 or so i didnt get this feeling like iwas hungry much even though i was eating 6 times a day....but now, the past couple days, even though i'm eating more, i have been a bit more "hungry" like my stomach actually growls with hunger...i worked out last night at 9 pm and had a shake after....and at like 2-3 am i woke up STARVING with a growling stomach...but, i didnt eat cuz i had already cheated a bit yesterday (had 2 extra shakes with a banana) and was already OVER my calories....by quite a bit...yet was still starving....and now, i'm waiting to eat my next meal tuna and baked potato even tho no weight training today) in about a half hour and i'm already starving...(last meal was at 9:15 am was half a cup of oats with strawberries and a protein shake) i didnt even feel starving when i was eating LESS!

i was wondering, is this normal?? is this a sign than my metabolism is "fixing" and speeding up (which is what i want) i'm actually feeling much more hungry than i did when i was on that starvation diet? it just seems weird to think about doesnt it??
