Im heading into boston sunday, ( dana farber sarcoma center ) where ill see my docs about treatment. they pamper me ( us ) with limo's to and from and the recovery rooms are 2nd to none, very similar to an expensive hotel, plasma screens, 24hr room service, open bar ( fruit juices and such ) and any food i can keep down, i find lobster comes back up real easy when i hurl. ill take a trip down to see the kids when im not too sick and see if i can brighten a few smiles, my illness seems like the flu compared to some of these lil darlings, toughest people on the face of the planet in my opinion, very sad. had a tough time sleeping last night, bad dreams, mind whirling with a million things, being sick, getting inshape, paying bills, how my family feels, freinds upcoming golf tournament ( he passed away in the Rhode island fire ), his kids, and so on. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for your support ahead of time and thanks for letting me vent via the forum, from the heart, thank you......

Ill be taking some photos at the golf tournament saturday and ill try to get em posted sat night, before i shave my head, i hate having my hair fall out on my pillow and in the shower drain, figure id shave it before it gets a chance to fall out, anyways ill post some pics of my and meathead ( my bulldog ) and my cars so you can see a lil bit of my world ok

lots a

Ah...bill...so sweet to think of others in your own hard time.
I'll tell you a little story so you know that miracles do exist. My brother in law,a police officer for CHP,had cancer in his lymphnodes behind his ear.He went to have what he thought was a cyst removed and it was a shock to discover later in consult it was cancer..on this same day my sister had a drs appointment as well...turns out she was pregnant..which at the time was a blessing...after the chemo my brother in law would be sterile...but terrifying for her little family. With a baby on the way my sister nursed her husband through aggressive chemo treatments...close to her due date my sister went into labor, but decided to stay home a bit,Bill(my brother in law) was having a particularly rough time that day, this was her second baby, she figured she was OK.She was on the couch timing her contractions when she heard Bill fall in the shower...she went in the bathroom and found him passed out on the floor...she called 911...in labor with a terribly sick husband this girl had the state of mind to slip some shorts on him(I'm always impressed with this every time I tell it)...and her water broke. So there she is with her 3 year old crying ..what happened to daddy...her husband(her high school sweet heart)passed out on the floor...afraid he could be dead...and in labor....the EMTS show up and put Bill in the ambulance and sent another for her...she delivered my nephew in the parking lot of the hospital. After all was said and done bill was fine...just very sick...and my sister, neice and nephew were all thriving.6 months later....Bill got the all clear...the cancer was gone, that was four years ago....but this is the miracle...2 months ago my sister and brother in law brought a beautiful healthy baby girl into the world...Bill was supposed to have been sterile...but life will thrive where it wants to...and yours will too.

thanks Kc, a heart warming story, i myself have actually already given sperm to be frozen and used at a later date ( hopefully ) before i started chemo, thou id definately rather try 60-70 times the el natural way ( hint hint ) to conceive a child before we nuke the lil rascals and try that way. Would be cool story if i could tell my child that they are a few years aolder than they really are, from being frozen and all..
