Is there any reason to be concerned with estrogen when taking DHEA? If so, should I take something additional?

DHEA can be beneficial for 'older' guys, and some younger. Research shows that DHEA has a propensity to convert to whatever hormone is dominant in the person. The word convert is just that, it is but a precursor. If test is predominant, then it will convert mostly to test, but if estrogen is the dominant, it will convert to E. This is why it is so beneficial to women who are menopausal.

To expand a bit with anectdotal evidence, I have had my wife on DHEA for about 3 years now. She stopped with the hot flashes, etc.

Depends on your lifestyle....i.e...if you are exhibiting energy expenditure on a regular basis, that is working out, you can use more than the sedentary person. I would suggest starting your dose as 1/2, so cut the pill in half. Start here, see how you feel. Increase if needed. But monitor yourself carefully.
