Ok here we go!
I'm 37 5 foot 11.5 inches tall and 183 pounds body fat at 15%, activety level is lifting heavy to maintian 8 reps a set 12 on warm-ups 4 days a week and cardio 1 to 2 days a week.
I have been eating at 2450 as an average for 31 days and have not lost or gained 1 pound just bounce from 180 morning low and 185 night high!
In these 31 days I have still lost fat% but no weight loss, the fat% is coming off at about .5% per week or less!
Now I can careless if I gain or lose weight at this point because it's more about getting to about 11% or 13% as next set goal!
? is, Should I just stay with what I'm doing? Or should I increase intake by another 100 to creep up to Maintenance Level? Or am I already at Maintenance Level?
This is the first time ever trying to get to Maintenance Level in my life so please bare with me. I just find it hard to believe I'm at Maintenance Level although alot of trainers and consolers say their Maintenance Level is even lower then what I'm at now! I believe I'm at a stand still or slow up not so a plateau because the fat is still burning!
I do know if your not gaining or losing you can be at Maintenance Level but I also know diet isn't linear!
I imagined Maintenance Level from 2700 to 2900 not 2450 or 2500 and I just can't believe these kid trainers and consolers with their 2100 to 2300 Maintenance Levels, gezz at one of my gyms the head trainer is fat I mean unhealthy fat, been there for over 6 years too!

I would hold the line right now if you are staying the same. This is maintenance right now for you. If you are however losing fat and you know it, and this is your goal, this is a perfect scenario for you. Ride this out, when you see your fat loss stop totally, then a decrease in calories will be warranted to continue your fat loss. Calorie ranges vary greatly for everyone. One guy can be at 2900 calories for maintenance, while another may be at 2300 for maintenance at the same weight. Many factors are involved here.

Sweet thanks Ron! I love the fact I'm not lossing weight and still burning off fat real slowly at this point beacause it tell me I'm doing the right thing and sparing as much muscle as I can.
When in doubt I'm going to ask even if it's the obvious. I just had to totally make sure, I'm a 1st timer at this!

The obvious is not so obvious sometimes till you find out. :) Then it is like a smack in the head. This is how we learn best.
If you are not losing strength in the gym, yet losing fat, you are holding muscle and doing well.
Nice job. Most are not satisfied with the pace you are going, but it is actually the best way to proceed. When you try to 'force' the issue by doing something drastic, the body usually responds in a negative way.

I'm actually gaining strength! I was injured a good part of the year so lifting was off an on but now it's constant and I'm getting strength gains.
Feels great to achieve a goal and better when you learn things along the way, to achieve and not learn isn't an accomplishment to me!
