Well here it is, I developped a cold over night.
Missed my traing today, and feel bad about that.
Besides chicken and chicken soup any ideas on how to hide the symptoms, or get rid of this thing?
I also take a gram of vit c every day!
Will xtra protien work or something?
I can't miss a nother training day!

oK TAKE IT EASY STRESSING OUT ABOUT MISSING WORKOUTS IS GOING TO MAKE YOU SICKER.....TAKE A DAY OR TWO OFF DRINK A LOT OF FLUIDS EAT THE CHICKEN SOUP, AND HERE IS A HINT THAT MOST DO NOT REALIZE...WHEN YOUR BODY IS SICK IT SENDS OUT TROOPS TO FIGHT THE ILLNESS. bY NOT FEEDING THEM IT TAKES LONGER. nOW i HAVE A VERY STRONG ABILITY TO EAT WHILE SICK, IN FACT I EAT MORE WHEN i DO NOT FEEL WELL AS A RESULT I HARDLY EVER CARRY A COLD LONGER THAN 24 HOURS. EAT IF YOU CAN ANS EAT WELL DO NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR DIET OR TRAINING NOW.

As a person that is in constant contact with runny noses etc. I swear by Echinacea. It keeps the colds at bay and if I do get one it is very mild and short lived (more of an inconvenience than a problem. Remeber though, you have to cycle it to be effective.

Yeah, lots of fluids and, I usually OD on Vitamin C in tablets and OJ.
Jbennett, thanks for the glutamine info. I knew it did wonders for your gastrointestinal system, but didn't know it helped your immune system as well.
