Know any good supplements for appetite supression? Apple cider vinegar? Trim Spa? Ripped Fuel? I need some help keeping the food out of my mouth. I have the will power to keep pumping iron in the gym 5 days a week, but not to put the fork down. Any suggestions? I need to loose 15 to 20 lbs. to look right. 32 years old, 6 ft. tall, 208 lbs. Bench 255 lbs.

Thanks!

Its a to each their own thing. Some things that work for some may not work for others. I own both Hydroxycut and Xenadrine. Xenadrine does decrease my appetite but I don't like the "drug" affect it has on me...makes me feel really uneasy and it doesnt boost my energy up like I thought it would...makes me nervous. There has been some problems with such drugs on the market as well so it may be a trial for you to see if you need the "boost". Im sure others will have some ideas too...maybe safer ones!

WATER, lots of...... and chewing gum....... Keep your mouth occupied!!!!

And of course you need to follow a good diet where you are sure of eating enough.

Forget the chemicals keep the $$ in your pocket.
Good protein and multi vits will keep the cravings away.
Think of all the good work you do in the gym as you put the fork to your mouth.
Like Philia said....LOTS of water.

Maintaining focus is important, if not the most important thing towards our success in this endeavor. One thing that may help to keep this focus, find a photo of you at your worst(heaviest). When you go to pick up that fork, take it out of your wallet/purse, and set it in front of you. Make a list of goals you desire to reach. Write them ddown, keep them with this photo. Read over them with your photo out at these hard times. It may help to also have a photo of a physique you idealize...have it handy too, and look at it. Should be lots of incentive to put down the fork, find something else to fill your time. Just some suggestions.

Put a sign or a picture on your bedroom ceiling so that it's the first thing you see in the morning, make it something that really motivates you. I just bought an impossibly gorgeous print of Marilyn Monroe lifting weights for my bedroom--works for me! Go and buy a bunch of diabetic sugar free candies to occupy your mouth when needed. Most importantly, ask for the support of your loved ones; hearing someone tell you how healthy you're looking or how proud they are of you should help you to stay focused. Chemicals might be good for a little while, but do you want to pay for them for the next 50 years? Look inside yourself to find the motivation!
