I am a beginner weight lifter. I weigh 139 lbs. and am 5"5". I need to know how much weight to start lifting and how many reps.

that depends on your strength, which has little to do with how much you weigh or how tall you are. start low with the weights and work up until you feel comfortable. how many reps depends on what your goals are (strength, bodybuilding, muscular endurance).
