quinoa I just read about it yesterday it is a grain from the Andes in and near Peru. It is a complet protein as well....just looking for feedback!

Hey Ron is this stuff as easy to find in say a normal gorcery store? As they claim it is?

It is soooooooo good. My mom cooks it in chicken broth)instead of water to add more flavor) and it is delicious. You should try it!

My mom picks it up in the bulk nurtition section of her Fred Meyers and Haggans...I would think any higher end grocery store would have it.

You can even grow your own. They grow about 6 ft tall and produce a nice flower also. Get them from a seed caralogue or a nursery.

Yep, I've had it in my cupboard for a few years. I really prefer the red quinoa to the white for flavor. I've only seen it in the health food store so far.
