Hello everyone im new here. My name is Jeremy i am 20 years old stand at 5'11 and weigh 163 last time i checked.
Growing up i have always been skinny and when u ask most people about me they think i look like a stick i guess. But alot of people are shocked when i tell them i weigh in the 160 area. hmm
anways in highschool i was really skinny freshman year i think i weighed around 125-130.. then at the end of my sophmore year and part of my junior year i ballooned somehow all the way up to around 180.. I was very inactive and most of my life i have been involved with backetball.. and i have a very high metabolism so i think it must have gone out of whack.. well i joined the wrestling team my junior year and got my weight back down around 160 but have been there ever since. after high school i really haven't done anything as far as sports or a constant exercise program.
people say i look to skinny and i think i do. most of my weight must be in the gut i sapose. anyways im doing the adding muscle program and the 12 week ab workout.. I wonder how much running i should be doing when i go do the weight training.
a question i have been having. for the nutrition and stuff im a mess. none of my parents really ever cooked so i am used to the fast food. i really dont know how to cook either but have started learning slowly. if anyone can give suggestions as far as what i should be eating that would be great because i have no idea. i usually eat alot of chicken lol.
Your current question is a fairly common one - spend some time reading in the FAQs forum and reading the 'sticky' posts (ones with the red push pin symbol next to them) in the other forums. I am sure you will find the answer to most of your questions. There is also a great search engine for the forums, at the bottom of the screen , called fitbuddy - you just put in keywords and it will pull up relevant posts. Usually you can find the info you are looking for.
If all that fails, then post a well-thought out question and I am sure you will receive some great suggestions. :)
