For those of you who have given me some encouragement/advice when it comes to my pregnancy and job, just thought I'd update you to whats going on. Wednesday I was told that today I would start training the new girl who will "cover" for me for the 90 days my boss REALLY wants me to take off. After her training is done, she and I will be splitting hours until I have the baby. Suffice to say I am looking for a new job NOW, and after I have Paul I won't be coming back to this company. So there ya go.

It actually might be working out for the best. I told a manager at one of the complexes we do work for(I see her as half customer half friend) and she told me that this companies loss might be her gain, because she would love to hire me. They have a leasing assistant that will be leaving soon, and she would love to have me on her team. SOOOOOOO fingers crossed. It would be a great job, and she would be willing to hire me at 7 months pregnant!

Yeah, I was shocked that they would bring someone in so early, and then have us split hours. And forcing the 90 days leave...kinda makes me feel like they don't want me to come back, which is fine, cause I don't want to either! Soooo, I'll train the new girl, and the minute this new job asks me to come on, it's see ya later mr stinky boss!

WOW, like you really need the extra stress right now. I'm sure your old boss will be sorry later. Hope everything will work out for the best. Good Luck:)

Ditto MVP! Thats crap though. And thats one of the reasons why unions are as strong as they are. Needless to say, under any curcumstances do NOT show the trainee anything that saves time. Go by the books. Fingers crossed for you.

Lol Ivan. If I showed her anything to save time, she'd only be working 2 hours a day!
MVP, my mom always says, when God shuts a door, He opens a window. I am really hoping that the lady who said she wants to hire me will follow through. Being a leasing assistant would be great, and it's through a large management company, so there would be plenty of room for growth...bye bye dead end jobs!!
