Wow....I ate like a machine yesterday.
BAck on track today, but after entering everything in my log,
here are the numbers. 160 of protein, 754 of carbs, and a whole 100 grms of fat. That fat # is what I would normally eat over 3 days. LoL.
Anyway today I am back on track. Just a little cheat day exposure!

carivan I see you log all you eat. Do you do this every day? Do you do this with pen and paper, online or with a program? How many others log what you eat? What about what you do, or a journal of how you feel?

Yes, I do this every day or 2nd day at the most. Keep a mental note then log it in on-line. I also log in the physical activities, as it keeps track of those calories that I burn. Yes, it is a little much, but its part of my routine. I don't keep track of how I feel, unless i have a cold or the flue that gets marked in my traing journal.
I read your profile, congradulations on the good work, and keep it going.

I find it super beneficial to keep a workout diary and diet log. this way I can keep track of everything I put in my mouth. It is very handy when you want to make calorie changes, easy to see just exactly where you can chop or add. Also, all the little things add up. You can never remember from day to day, sometimes even the same day, what all you ate. Good to track your protein stats with instead of guessing. Guessing leaves you lacking too many times. I find just a cheap spiral notebook works best for me, I can carry it around. Computer programs are only good when you are around them.

Thats right bb1fit, computers only good if you're around them and what if they crash! I think I'll start printing out the stats.
Joe, yes its fitday that I use. Was a hassle at the beginning because of all the custom foods that I eat but once it gets going it's ok.
My workout diary is notebook, it comes to the gym with me everytime.

You know, Champion Nutrition has a free download that is pretty cool for setting up and doing your diet....you do need Excel though to use it.

I use Fitday as well. I generally plan out my meals for the day in the morning based on what I brought/where I'm going for lunch and what foods I know I have at home. This makes it very easy to manage your calories and macro ratios.
