Hi everyone, I'm brand new here, and I'm having some problems following the nutritional program. I have a tendancy to undereat, because I'm always on the run and rarely sit down to eat. Conversly, I'm just a bit overweight, and I want to change what I eat to get into better shape. My problem is that I just can't meet the nutritional goals - 2,400 caloris per day is more than 2x what I'm used to, never mind 300+ grams of carbs! Is it bad to eat less than the nutritional program says? If I'm under, should I worry about it?

It's not bad to eat less but if you are doing any kind of training you need the energy from the good diet. You can always throw in a couple of meal replacements and or protien shakes. Good luck and welcome to the community.

If you undereat and you are a little overweight then you probably got a problem with your metabolism.
You'll need to eat more proteins and several small meals during the day. You also need to exercise.

Thanks! I usually do eat small meals, but I really need to work on more protein and less carbs. I'm a total bread junkie.
I know my mother has problems with her weight due to thyroid problems - is that hereditary?

The very best way to answer your question is to go and see a doctor.
A very important information for you as well........

How much do you weigh? I've found the nutrional program on this site to shoot a bit too high . . .
