Actually Flax Seeds are better then the oil for that purpose!

Your water intake may be too low and or your Fiber!

I get at least 1 fruit or vegetable source in with every meal plus stuff like Oats and beans help get the fiber in.

1 thing it could be also is your calorie intake is too low, it has happened to me before when I had now nutritional clue.

yep....not enough water and calories to low...I would imagine this is the problem...do as MVP suggests and get your diet in better shape and this will clear up shortly.

Protein bars are for the most part crap. Crappy ingredients used, fillers, binders to hold it together. Most are a stop gap in nutrition at best.

By having the protein bar before your workout, you are of defeating some of the purpose of your workout. You want to use the energy from fat stores and not from the calories in the bar.
And like BB! said, they are crap anyway. More water, fiber and calories will do it.

A little discipline at the table and at the gym might help reduce that belly!
