i am 24 yrs old, male. 6'2" 155 lbs. I have very little(less than 10%)body fat. I just recently quit smoking and am focused on living a healthier lifestyle. Part of my plan is to work out and become more active. I know it will take time for me to put on muscle mass...ive weighed 155lbs since i graduated hs. My metabolism is very high, even though my activity level has decreased dramatically over the last few years. I am going to start doing a little cardio(basketball) but i dont want to give up the calories. i live alone, so healthy food is hard to come by, although im getting better slowly. any suggestions. i know theres no quick fix, i have read a little on whey protein and creatine. I filled out the personal profile and goals. how much protein and when?creatine?

Welcome to FT jbux. Your profile isn't showing up but I'm curious why living alone has anything to do with getting healthy food?? Protein supplement is good but it's still a supplement. You need to try and get the majority of your calories from real food. Check out the Grocery List in the nutrition forum and it should help you get started.
