Steve had the idea of using lat pulldown machine. Stuff your feet were your knees would go, put your knees on seat and hold on the bar as counter weight.

Or...use one of those adjustable inclined ab benches. You can use one of the wooden stick used for twists for extra support. This is really hard. I can only do like one or two with the help of the stick.

Neither exactly mimic GHR, but they are pretty close.

Another way to do it....and its really hard....hook your feet/ toes under a bench, or squat rack( very close to floore)....put your knees / hips on a "core' ball....and do them on that....lil harder cause you have to balance.

LOL not a chance BigA! But thanks...any other ideas? The lat pull down is just to awkward for that.

Mutt, the nice thing about andrew's stability ball thing is that by adjusting the angle of your torso (bringing your feet up and down) you can adjust the intensity of the exercise. Start with having your feet under something about half the height of the ball and work up from there.

I guess I didn't really come up with the lat pull down thingy... damn.

At the part where he is doing them on a swiss ball, you can bring the swiss ball forward (above your knees) and your feet down (closer to the ground) to make them easier.
