Hello, I am new to this community and I have been having a hard time losing weight. I lead a gluten free and dairy free diet. I know I eat too much sugar, so will be cutting that back to a treat here and there.
I would also like to learn some exercises. I currently go to Curves two or three times a week. I need to learn some weight bearing exercises that I can do at home. I do, however, have a handicapp. My balance is limited and so it is hard for me to do arobic type exercises.

how about bicycle or swimming? Both very good for fat loss. Maybe three to four times a week, 30-60 mins a day.

Hello bambam and welcome to FT. Curves is a great way to introduce yourself to some wt resistance exercises, but it is probably time for you to move on. I myself started with curves, but after 1 year I moved to a regular gym and took up free wts. There are home programs on this site that you can download and they're very good. As far as aerobic activity goes, even walking counts...anything that gets your heartrate up! I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for here, if not, don't be afraid to ask! Good Luck!
