It may seem overly simplistic but try and get away from that "diet" mentality and make it a life style. The easiest way to resist having snacks is to not have snacks available unless those snacks are something like celery. :)
I find a protein shake will take away cravings for me.
No fat, No Carbs, Just protein, and we could always use that, providing you are within your calorie totals.
