ACS Relay For Life... 7/14/2007

I want to be a captain this year for my team and I am asking suggestions on our Team Name's. I was just going to use my bookstore I own, "Raven's Books & More" but it seems hokey. Any other suggested team names would be much appreciated. This year's participation is very sentimental to me as this year I will be walking as a patient, not just a family member or friend. :) Thanks everyone in advance.:love: -------------- Bettia To be motivated, motivate others!

Does this event happen all over the countyry? How do we find more info about participation? It has never been the money maker, just a passion I love and mine...hehe. Amy relay is not only a national deal, but has turned into an international one, i've been walking now for three years and it is a great community activity. My name is Kelley and my wife ,both my daughter have been doing the relay for 9 years now. My youngest is 7 1/2 and was at her first relay from the time she was born.I just have to share this with you,because I find it very motivating. Last year we had a family and friends team and her friend was joining our team and she told me she couldn't wait to get her out there and show her what it is all about to relay.ANd this year she joined us on our board for our local relay.Any way i could talk about relay for hours so if you have any questions please feel free to ask and the name mabe raven's sidekicks.OH and my goal this year and the reason i am on this site is I hit my high weight at 250 and decided i had enough and have joined the ymca and started a new way of life and i am currently at 231 and i am planning on walking the entire 24 hours at our relay this year.
