Hey
Ive been talking to a few people about creatine and they are saying I should stay away from it. I thought that it was pretty harmless but they said it is bad for your joints because some of the extra water stretches them. something about water pockets. Since I have been using it and liking it, I am wondering if anyone knows about this or have read any studys.
Thanks

Well, if that was the case we would all have the same condition. Creatine is in meats that we eat and fish. This si synthesised through our liver.

Creatine supplementation has been, and continues to be, investigated as a possible therapeutic approach for the treatment of muscular, neurological and neuromuscular diseases (arthritis, congestive heart failure, miscellaneous neuromuscular diseases, mitochondrial diseases, muscular dystrophy, neuroprotection, etc.).

Two scientific studies have indicated that creatine may be beneficial for neuromuscular disorders.

Hope this helps.

Careful who you listen to. Think logically...can this really be true?

It will make your b*lls shrink too when you stop using it. :) Kidney failure, and lung collapse is soon to follow.

IS it true that if you use creatine and then quit you can get a little smaller? This is just what some people said to me at school. But i always thought it was good supplement.

You do lose the extra water that it helps put on but you dont lose any new muscle fibers that you gained while using it.

your 1st mistake is "talking to a few people"

Ge tyour opinions and information on your own....instea dof listening to the old P.E teacher, the guy the does curls all the time or the "retired" football player at the gym.

READ READ READ find and draw your own conclusions.
