Anabolic diet: thoughts?

2007/01/10, 01:42 PM
I have been reading ALOT about the Anabolic diet recently. I have also contacted Beverly International for one of thier diets and it is pretty much the same form,

so i was wondering what people's thought where about this diet?

Everything i have been reading (including the book) makes sense and i really want to try it

has anyone tried this diet? Or does anyone have any tips towards this diet?

BB1Fit, yes we are. What do you think about his approach with this diet?

It is almost identical to the diet that Beverly International uses as well, but i believe they have a higher protein content than fat unlike the Anabolic diet?

so what do you think about it?

thanks

This guy has 'waffled' more than a waffle maker. He is constantly trying to do things and vary things to 'justify' his diet plan.

I think around 20 yrs. now he has been doing this back and forth to stay relevant.

Is this what you are reading, or his older stuff... http://www.exercisecertification.com/books/Library/Synergy%202006/Phase%20Shift%20Diets.pdf

The section "Post Exercise Carbs are Counter Productive" may and should be a tipoff. :)

It is one thing 'wanting to be different', but quite another to totally ignore all relevant research.

If you want to do any type of diet along these lines at all, a TKD may be your best option. I personally am a fan of balanced mixed meals, at a slow caloric reduction.

***edit to note unless you need fast weight loss for medical reasons, then my post on dieting may be of interest to you.

Thanks bb1 i was just basically looking for some advice on wether or not it is a good lifestyle to try to persue? Or if it could indeed lead to bad things healthwise down the road?

i have seen people's bad cholesteral and such go down with this diet and they actually lost body fat, and leaned up, but not sure if it is actually healthy to do?

thanks for everything
