Hi
Since I can´t go to the gym anymore I bought 2 dumbells and some plates. The problem is the store only had limited weight plates. They are fine for most exercises and I will nedd some months to lift them, but for the dumbell militar press and dumbell bench press they are too light.
What I want to kow is if I put all the plates in one dumbell and work one side of the body at a time instead of both right and left at the same time I will have any problem.
I'm affraid it can cause assimetry of the muscles but if it doesn't please let me know:)

It may be harder to stabilize the movements, but shouldn't have any negative problems if that's what you're asking.

Yeah, I was just thinking if it could cause me assimetry. I´m glad it doesn't. Thanks for the help. Just another quick qustion if you don't mind:
When I finish one set of the right pec should i immediately work the left or should I rest a little to be "fresh"?

I often prescribe unilateral exercises as a way of CORRECTING or PREVENTING imbalances. You have nothing to worry about.

I will switch immediately then. Thanks for the help people. This will allow me to don´t stop training for a month or so due to lack of weights. Great site:big_smile:
